I was trying to install baby safety as and when I saw a hint of danger. I got them as soon as I saw my baby head for plug points on a handful of occasions and definitely wanted to get the idea off her head. After installing them Asap, she did head over the plug 🔌 point and when she realized there was no access, she moved on and hasn't gone near one since. Seriously get it! It gives peace of mind especially when they start moving.

Pros: 1. Fits snuggly in the socket. 2. Because they are translucent the are very discreet. 3. Generous amount. I had plenty left over. They aren’t absorbantly large so sometimes I have a hard time getting them out. Obviously I would rather them be difficult to remove at times than too easily removed. Overall: I would definitely repurchase in the future if I needed more / suggest them to a friend. They have an excellent price point.

Even after installing foam socket sealers cold air still pours through unused receptacles via the small openings for the electrical plugs on outside walls. These plastic outlet plugs fit snug are effective in against cold air infiltration. Unused phone jacks were doing the same thing and since I no longer have a wired landline I replaced the jack plates with blank plates and foam sealers. Every little bit helps when it’s ten degrees outside.

These fit snuggly and are an effort to remove as they should be. Nowadays, new homes require tamper resistant outlets, but my home is nearly 50 years old and slowly being updated. I personally don't trust either method on its own. A $2 device is only as safe as the plastic barrier covering that hot side of the outlet. My advice is that if these don't fit snug enough to really require an adult to put effort into removing them, replace your device with a tamper resistant outlet and still use one of these. Keep them safe and teach them the importance of a safety as soon as they are curious.

I have a few brands of these plug protectors, and this brand is the best. The covers are more snug to the wall and have a tighter fit than others I have, so they are hard for a child to get out of the wall. The Safety 1st ones I have are so so easy to remove. My mom lives with me and has some issues with her hands, so it's a bit harder for her to get them out but she can get them out without painstaking effort. I more wanted to point that out for anyone with someone in the house with hand strength concerns. The price is great, the plastic is sturdy, I love the fit, and the don't stand out too much in the sockets (my Safety 1st ones are more starkly white). Highly recommend!

Install Flash Player These are clear outlet covers. They are affordable and durable. I would not leave these lying around unless you want to find yourself cursing in front of your toddler. They do hurt when you step on them! Durability: My toddler has chewed on a few and they still seem to work great. I've stepped on a few and the prongs did not bend. We have these all around the house on multiple different types of outlets and they fit everywhere. They are very easy to slide on. I hate having to remove them from an outlet because it is sometimes hard to remove! This is great for a toddler and horrible for an adult trying to plug in something quickly. The purpose of these is toddler safety, so they do the job. I attached a video on an outlet that is not hard to remove, I think there might be small differences in the product or outlets which cause the fluctuation in strength to remove. Swallowing: they are decently big, it would be hard to swallow for a child under 1 in my opinion. Overall: This outlet cover will protect your child. They make me feel like a good parent when I see a covered outlet. Some will be hard to remove from the outlet, others will not be as hard, they are very durable. Tip: Count how many outlets you have, subtract the ones you

So far, so good! These work as intended and are difficult to remove. The only thing that would alter my opinion on these plugs would be how long they take to dry rot. Our home's previous owners had small children as well and had left the plugs in the outlets. When we moved in we went to remove both the plug and the outlet covers and we discovered that the child safe outlet plugs had dry rotted in the socket and couldn't be removed, when you tried the other flat piece would come off leaving the two smaller pieces stuck in the outlet. We ended up replacing every single outlet that they had left those plugs in, the plastic had rotted so much that when you tried to pull the plastic out it just crumbled. I have no idea how many years they had left them in the sockets, but it was a drag having to replace all those outlets. Here's hoping these don't do something similar.

These are exactly as expected. They're a thick quality plastic so I'm not worried about the breaking or chipping. They're also just thick enough that I can easily grip them to unplug them if needed, but not thick enough for my daughter to pull on.

I got these to baby proof my outlets and they seem to be working fine. The kids will still try to pull them out but their hands aren't strong enough yet. I tried and almost pulled out a nail. I think the kids are getting stronger and will eventually take them out. Hopefully by then they will know that electricity can kill and won't stick anything in the outlet. Day 26: Babies have seen me take these out and wait until I leave and disconnect my charger. I think I have to move my charger. Babies are adapting and overcoming all obstacles.

We decided to purchase this product because my toddler as most of babies is fascinated with outlets and I was looking for a plug to deter him. The model we purchased before there was a tab to pull and make easier to the parents to remove them out from the outlets. My son realized that and the plug could not deter him at all and It became kind of a toy for him and a problem to us that were looking for safety. Because of the good reviews we opted for this brand. Pros: - Perfect quantity: You get 36 units. For us It was just right to cover the most critical parts of the apartment. - It is flat and there is no tab so my toddler can’t remove It - It is white and Didn’t get yellow. Cons: - I have a hard time myself removing them too but I Don’t mind. Safety first. Strongly recommend this product! .
